Inwardly: Meditation Coaching, Modern Design

Brand Vision: Clarity in Chaos
Inwardly stands out in a crowded wellness market by ditching vague spirituality for practical, human-centered coaching. The brand needed to reflect this “mindfulness without the fluff” approach.
Key pillars:
- Accessibility: Breaking down barriers to meditation (no incense required).
- Calm Confidence: Trustworthy guidance, minus the pretension.
- Modern Simplicity: A digital-first experience that feels peaceful, not sterile.
The Design Approach
Logo: The Lotus in the “W”
The logo is a quiet nod to mindfulness. By replacing the “W” in inWardly with a stylized lotus, I married symbolism with simplicity:
-
The Lotus: A universal symbol of growth and clarity, blooming even in murky waters, perfect for a brand helping users find calm amid life’s chaos.
-
Typography: A clean sans-serif typeface (Sofia Pro) keeps the focus on legibility and modern minimalism.

Colors: Soft Hues, Bright Pops
The palette whispers “calm” while staying vibrant enough to engage:
-
Core Brand Colors:
Jacarta Elm Peach Orange -
Site Colors:
Sinbad for email sign-up banners.
Apricot for call to action buttons.
Peach Orange text highlights.
Thistle → Spring Wood → Periwinkle Gray subtle background gradient

Typography: Clean Lines, Clear Mind
Fonts mirror Inwardly’s balance of approachability and expertise:
-
Headlines:
Ebony Sofia Pro Bold, crisp and authoritative for headlines.
-
Body text:
Meteorite Helvetica Neue, timeless and easy on the eyes for body text.

Website: Breathe Easy
The design avoids clutter while maintaining enough room for text to educate the customer:
-
Loose sections: Favored floating elements over strict sections to give a more natural feel, broken up by email sign-up banners.
-
Rounded Corners: Soft edges mimic the flow of breath.
-
Icons & Visuals: Curated icons and imagery to reduce unneeded text and enhance visual appeal.
Why It Works
Inwardly’s design is purposeful. The soft gradients and lotus motif create a digital space that feels safe to explore, while the clear layout keeps users focused on their goals (not the noise).
By blending modern minimalism with thoughtful symbolism, Inwardly becomes more than a platform, it’s a gentle nudge toward a clearer, kinder mind.
Great design, like meditation, isn’t about adding more. It’s about creating space for what matters.
